God's Bounty Ignored... - Nature Poems - By Tahera Haq

This is a poem I wrote by keeping in mind the increasing threat of global warming. I think its high time people start seriously thinking and taking actions for the same. We must leave a beautiful world for our future generation.
God's blessings are such a bliss,
With every morning I felt this,
Life is such a beautiful wish,
Like a glowing moon without blemish.

The sky twinkled with the stars so bright,
Nature seemed so very right.
The light of day and peace of night,
Made the world a wonderful sight.

Far and across where ever I see,
Its was God's bounty, a stunning ecstasy!
He made this world so perfectly,
With everything right where it meant to be.

Then shouldn’t we protect all of these?
Because God made it for you and me.

But the sky isn’t blue anymore,
Seas are turning brown and yellow.
Trees are scarce and so is fresh air.
The world is taking a real bad shape.

It hurts to see people ignore,
The situation is grave than ever before.
Resources are running out and so is time.
We need to work before we start to whine.
